The Research for Scalable Solutions (R4S) project conducts implementation science research to improve the efficiency, cost-effectiveness and equity of family planning programs in Africa and Asia.
R4S staff work with various country research agencies to strengthen research capacity, support countries to generate evidence for developing feasible, sustainable strategies to implement High Impact Practices and self-care interventions equitably.
R4S works toward:
EXPANDING development, adoption and implementation at scale of self-care and client-driven approaches in the public and private sectors
IMPROVING understanding of cost-effectiveness and efficiency of scaling proven and promising High Impact Practices and expanding method choice
INCREASING understanding of how proven and promising High Impact Practices enhance equitable access to high-quality voluntary family planning
