“Digital Training Approaches for Family Planning Providers: Emerging Evidence and Resources” USAID, FHI 360, Society for Family Health, PSI, and Jhpeigo, as well as hormonal IUD manufacturers Bayer and Medicines360, presented: • An overview of the need for digital training solutions for FP providers • Results from a recent study evaluating the feasibility and acceptability of a hybrid digital approach to train providers on the hormonal IUD in Nigeria • An overview of other online training resources for FP providers with a focus on resources to support hormonal IUD introduction to expand contraceptive choice. CONTRACEPTIVE-INDUCED MENSTRUAL CHANGES can impact users’ lives in both positive and negative ways. This two-day meeting on November 17 and 18, 2020 was coordinated by FHI 360 through the Envision FP and Research for Scalable Solutions (R4S) projects with support from the U.S. Agency for International Development. The event convened experts in the fields of family planning and menstrual health to review evidence around contraceptive-induced menstrual changes, with a focus on user perspectives and experiences across the life course. At IBP’s ICFP Pre-conference, R4S hosted a half-day session on monitoring implementation of family planning interventions. We opened the session with this short video, where you can hear a variety of stakeholders share their perspectives about why monitoring implementation is important alongside key challenges.
